Epilepsy Prize 2019 – Clinical Science

Suejen Perani, Siti Yaakub, Jonathan O’Muircheartaigh and Mark Richardson (In collaboration with researchers from UCL’s Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, MRC CNDD researchers) have won the Clinical Epilepsia Prize for 2019 for their work that led to the discovery of thalamic structural abnormalities as an intrinsic feature of genetic generalised epilepsy (GGE)
