In collaboration with researchers from UCL’s Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, MRC CNDD researchers Suejen Perani, Siti Yaakub, Jonathan O’Muircheartaigh and Mark Richardson have been selected to receive the Clinical Epilepsia Prize for 2019 for their work that led to the discovery of thalamic structural abnormalities as an intrinsic feature of genetic generalised epilepsy (GGE).
Each year, the Editors of Epilepsia identify and honour the best clinical research and basic science research papers published the previous year in the journal. The prestigious prize will be awarded to the researchers in June.
Congratulations to Suejen, Siti, Jonny and Mark! Follow the link above to read the full paper.
